Weekly Update # 31 - Mar 29th, 2020

Hello, dear pianists!

We apologize for skipping last week's update. Like everyone else, we are a bit overwhelmed by the Coronavirus events. On the one hand, we see a steady rise in people who register to learn our method for free. On the other hand, it seems a bit strange to discuss piano playing when so many people are suffering and even dying… Life goes on, however, and we will come out of this crisis stronger and more resilient.

This week we'd like to share with you (with permission, of course) a lovely letter we received from one of our students, Greta, from Canada. Here is what she writes:

I agree with you with regard to practicing my piano lesson. I think it's the most wonderful thing to do anytime. You won't imagine how much I enjoy learning to play the piano, although some lessons are more challenging.....lol, but I am getting along, thanks again for your system and the extremely great care and effort you dedicate to us. I am at Exercise 3....that lefty challenge...hahaha!!!!. I have to get another keyboard because the one I'm using now has only 49 keys. I'm in the process of buying a 61 keys. But I'm still practicing. I must tell you that I purchased 2 of your books and I am really, really enjoying them. It feels so good playing those songs. I got 'The Christmas Song Book' softcover and 'The Hymns' online, and yes, they are perfect. … Thank you, and I pray that God will continue to bless you and your team for something so great.

Thank you, Greta, and we will do our best to continue and serve our community of 4000 registered students (and growing…)

And just to cheer us up a little, here is a video of Yanna playing some great Sousa marches.

All these great marches are taken from our PENTA book, The Marches, available here:

Last but not least: Yesterday, March 28th, was International Piano day! Want to read more? Here is the link:

Have a wonderful week, stay healthy and careful, and keep practicing!
